Need Bullet interior pics.

Boat is going to the interior shop this Saturday. I have a few ideas on the direction I would like to go, but wouldn't mind seeing other options just in case. Hit me with any pic you have of a redone Bullet interior. (Cockpit is primary concern).

Carter, I found the pics you emailed me of the white/black/red interior that one of the guys on here did. I would love to see a few more detailed pics of his bolsters and back seat just to get some ideas on shaping the foam. I can't for the life of me find his posts anywhere now.

Side note..... Anyone have strong opinions about leaving the helms black and going with a white gauge panel? Still struggling with that. Budget constraints are forcing me in that direction.

Buck

That's perfect. Yours was another one I had in mind but couldn't remember the user name. Thank you for the help. Pics saved.

Like the embroidery work. Your hatch logo is exactly what I plan to go for.

Hey Brian. I have at least a hundred pics of my cockpit and cabin from when I had a Bullet. They are on a jump drive in my desk at work. I can post some up for you tomorrow night. What exactly do you need?

Craig

PS- Wait until the budget gets stronger if you have to......but do the dash, it will be well worth it. ;)

jbraun2828 12-11-2013 08:44 PM

The black kind of dates the boat in my opinion. You really only have one chance to change that, when everything's out. You can always do other things like bolsters and gauges or whatever down the road. But it's now or never for the council if everything is out.

Quinlan 12-12-2013 06:28 AM

What Craig said!

Also don't even Think about the B word!!! It will never hold up lol. Or as I heard once--"Just Double it and you Might come in Under"

Good luck man and keep the pics coming!

+1 "Budget, we don't need no stinkin' budget......."

Paint the dash. better looks, better resale. The time to do it.....is now

waycool marine 12-12-2013 07:18 AM

another vote for paint did my café when interior was out, its really your only chance to paint it was cheap - in boat money terms

carter38 12-12-2013 07:25 AM

Dash has to go white. Like everyone is saying wait on something else while it's apart now is the time and you'll never look back and if you don't you'll always look back and wished you would have done it.

buck183 12-12-2013 07:37 AM

FYI. You guys suck.

That's another one that came to mind. Yours is the one I was searching out last night. Carter sent me about a dozen or so pics of your interior that I now have saved on my ipad for my meeting with the interior peeps.

I really like the shaping they did on your bolsters.

It is an amazing boat. I've been eyeing that thing got a long time. Very well done.

buck183 12-14-2013 09:53 PM

Update.

Waves and Wheels has the interior, Vincent has the boat for paint work. I said the hell with it and decided to do the helms in a tie die pattern. Interior....ancient Chinese secret.

Looks awesome! I like the black carbon fiber....how about some pictures of the boat??

Smitty 12-17-2013 12:54 PM

Just wrap it in carbon fiber vinyl, any color you want. Then you can change it just like some women change their hair color...:lolhit:

another as it goes back...

I got a wild hair earlier this year to pull it out and put it back together. I was on a roll for a while flying in and working on it on my days off, but being so busy with work and wanting to actually go home it took its toll on progress.

The good thing is we are going down this week, and it will be on its final push. I had wanted to get it back to Vincent this winter, but looks like it will be next for its new paint. I just need to get it running first. I need to get some pictures together.

Hey Yankey, good to see that you are on a roll. Gonna be on the water this summer?

Thanks for sharing. I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. Very nice.

I know, I know. Looking forward to using that option at my earliest convenience. I've never had a boat with a sink in it. :)

Man Buck, are you in for a treat. Once you have a boat with a sink, you will NEVER go back.

Year's ago while in the Keys, I shared some cocktails with Brownie, who designed the Bullet. He makes no qualms about it, the "BJ seat" was designed for it's one and only intended purpose!

And, the raised deck on the starboard side was so guys of his size could actually get into the head compartment.

yschmidt 12-18-2013 04:57 PM

If not my wife is going to kill me.

I have really liked the silver, and exactly why it is going back to Vincent at first opportunity. I'll quit here, but I do want to post some pictures of what we have done.

Remind me to buy Brownie a beer when I see him. That man has his priorities straight.
