As much of a d!ck move it is by Dmaxx, I think it is more of the sellers lack of integrity. If it wasn't Dmaxx it would've been somebody else........

Ah, I see. Sounds like a lack of communication within the marina. Or a lack of morals, selling to highest bidder even with a deposit in hand. Good luck in your search
... buyer 1 gives deposit but seller not convinced buyer 1 is going to see it through... Buyer 2 comes along all hot and heavy willing to give deposit, sight unseen.. Seller takes deposit from buyer 2 to "guarantee" a sale figuring if buyer 1 walks, he still has buyer 2 in hand and if buyer 1 closes deal, then can give buyer 2's money back. Hopefully I'm right and Full Whack gets his money back... |

I feel bad for fullwack I was going to look at it for him as we talked about his concerns....after three calls to the dealer they said they would call me but never did...so contacted the buyer told him what happened...it sucks how this went down but maybe he is better off... I wouldn't by sh.t from that marina that s for sure....

Damn you. Almost stole that boat from you tomorrow morning. Seller started to play games with me and was real rude. Hopefully you have a better experience than I had... Was looking forward to putting that boat back together
The forums have not been kind to Duramax315. I get it, he is eager but making these moves like he did just wont sit well with a tight community. To make money flipping a boat you will need to have connections with people to get parts fast and affordable. I doubt people will facilitate parts or cut him a deal on a reputation that is from these forums.. Found or unfound. Fair or not fair.. Thats just the way it is some times. |

So if Full Whack has first deposit to buy...........how do you step in and come to buy this boat???

Well, the ad does state "1st come, 1st serve". Just not sure how/or better yet...why, the deposit thing, and a 'non refundable' one at that. Seems like a deposit means nothing more than having your money tied up in the mean time, not a guarantee it will be there when you show up to get it. Eitherway, good luck to both dmax on his purchase and FW on his new search
