Heres a couple thoughts on paint jobs for the cafe I'm building. Opinions welcome. Here we go.

J-Bonz 01-09-2014 02:07 PM

I like all three!

carter38 01-09-2014 02:11 PM

I've got a few more we're working on too.

Perlmudder 01-09-2014 02:15 PM

Agreed, all three look great

NKissau 01-09-2014 02:31 PM

I like #1

302Sport 01-09-2014 02:33 PM

How about something turned down and subtle? I feel like a lot of the new boats are going that route, look at all of these marauders:

buck183 01-09-2014 02:45 PM

I'm leaning hard towards #1, with #3 being a close second for me.

I've considered that I've even considered pearl white with a nice logo at the back. Clean and simple.

Bottom! The crazier the better for us!!

carter38 01-09-2014 03:05 PM

I think I'm going to do a hardshell hatch on this one raised up like a 575 hatch.

Pearl white, with some gray/black/silver, carbon fiber effects, and a bunch of ghosting makes for a very, very sharp boat. This boat in person is one of nicest boats I have seen and will never go out....

#3 no doubt..

jbraun2828 01-09-2014 03:58 PM

#2 does it for me

GL@PBC 01-09-2014 04:04 PM

#1, close 2nd is #3

Magic Medicine 01-09-2014 04:06 PM

I like 1 or even better the pearl white idea.

Quinlan 01-09-2014 04:33 PM

True statement.

Interceptor 01-09-2014 05:21 PM

less is more and won't be dated once a new type of swirl, hurricane, dot and dash, flame comes along.

park35 01-09-2014 05:27 PM

Number one I like the best

jawbreakerkid 01-09-2014 05:34 PM

I gotta go with número uno! I can't wait to see Vincent lay into this one!

5050 01-09-2014 05:38 PM

I like 1 on paper. 3 might be better In person.

F-2 Speedy 01-09-2014 05:38 PM

#1 for me, looks the same as #3 without the yellow and orange

carter38 01-09-2014 05:43 PM

Good thing about number one is you could add the fade in at a later date if you wanted to change it up in a couple years. That's what we were trying to come up with something that can add to later if wanted to be.

I drew a few up for mine as well (I like your's better)....

The third one is supposed to have an all silver base - it didn't scan well.

buck183 01-09-2014 06:43 PM

Carter, what about the mock up that you showed me couple months ago that was all red? You said you were wanting to do our Bullet in that scheme at the time. Is that something you're saving for a Bullet or have you moved in another direction on colors?

I really want to do that one on a bullet. Plus I want to keep some blue in there because there is accents of blue in dash and carpet.

Number 1.

2 and 3 are reminiscent to early 2000's cig paint schemes. The second set of drawing seem to be a little more dated from the 80's in my opinion.

#1 will be the most timeless.

#3 Reminds me of Rice Hailer...
