1982 38' with stock 502 mags? whats the top speed

No slower than it would of been when it was new with 420's or 400 cyclones.

I sold a 1993 38TG (on consignment) a few years back that someone had dropped a set of 7.4 LX's in. The boat was apparently slated to get 6's and 800's but ended up bank owned. It was a real performer with the 7.4's!!!

Those are MPI Mags in the picture, not a bad engine

Propped right say 62-63 in fresh water. Maybe 64 in right conditions. Just my guess. I have 525's & run 72-73 as long as water isn't totally flat.

I like the paint job!

There is a red 38 gun of the same vintage that runs our lake. 454s with 250 blowers twin carb, trs drives, runs 67 tops.
