The original was a square face huminbird and I am pretty sure the Gaffrig is a round face Huminbird the original tranducer pliug was round and new one was square so being the Pollock that I am I fit the round pulg in a square hole but it dint work.
Gafrig or Humonbird did not hasve sny sdspters so I msy hsve swsped polarity oops.

on my tiger it is right in front of the starbord motor, similar to where klaws is. I have a new one but I'm not going to rout out the floor, I'm just going to epoxy it right to the hull a little further back under the motor.

I replaced mine. I dug it out of the hull and reglassed in the new one. Make sure you don't get air between the new transducer and the hull.
