It's a whole other to do ghost graphics, carbon fiber weave, smoke, graphics, shadowing, etc. as I mentioned earlier, I had a guy do the deck of my boat who was insane. anyone can pm me for pictures. I don't have my hopes up, especially based on what I have seen done.
very true, I grew up in my dads autobody shop messing around, I can paint, but suck at custom stuff, I leave that to the guys that can really do it...my buddys dad is one of the best I ever seen these days....he hates doing boats, the time is insane he said, I wish he would, he is the best in the area for hot rods and customs, posting a couple pics of a "simple" mustang my buddy raced, father son team, love or hate the paint, look at the attention to detail, thats the kinda thing I am usd to and looking for in a "restore" or "custom" boat or cars...this Mustang was raced NMRA every weekend, people could not believe the work put into a racecar my dad was great but retired now....

dude I've seen artists sh*t out drawings in 3 mins that look like Picasso drew it. art is an inherent born with talent. something that can't be taught. I stand by my comments until proven otherwise, which I don't have high hopes for..

Wonder why you didn't get the call for the paint. Strange.

With the awesome easy to use catalyzed primers and base coat clear coats these days a Fukin retarded Monkey could block ,tape and spray a decent pain job fresh out of the cage.

Tape and spray some Awlgrip or Imron in less than perfect temps than we will see what you are made of.

Please re-read my comments. I said solid paint and a couple stripes is do-able by anyone who has some skill, knowledge, and patience to work with paint. What seperates the men from the boys is like I said...real graphics. i.e. smoke, shadows, ghosting, etc. there are only a few people in New England who are really good at spraying big boats in custom graphics. drawing is the easy sh*t. And from what I've seen. Yikes. Working with paint is exponentially harder. I'm willing to bet the top painters like taod, hunter, etc are sick at drawing and art in general.
