I would not put old gauges in a freshly painted dash and what not, they gauges are not hard to change, they are already out.....I would hope anyway...

Get rid of them hoses between the bypass and stat housing..... force all water through engine then out exhaust...them hoses allow lots of water to go out to exhaust easily...

Trying to see if this will work. Trying it on my phone. And you guys are probably right. But were gunna see. We pulled the motors in 2 hours so I can't imagine it will take all that long. And no my hands were the only hands doing the work. But I have buddies and boater guys local that help me with moving **** like the hatch and motors and stuff. It's supposed to be ungodly hot so we'll see what happens. Only the dash left to paint. Ending up not redoing the gauges just for times sake. I'll let the new owner design the dash and I'll do it how he wants or let him run it. Hopefully the photos work.

I think the OP is doing a great job, maybe he did come off a little cocky but shoot, we've all been guilty of that more than once. Regardless, I think he has already surprised a few people with what he has already done with the boat up to this point. I know he has captured a wide audience on this build, some rooting him on and others hoping he fails to say I told you so. Myself, Im excited to see the end product and another old Cig brought back to life !!
