My vote would have been to keep paint it had , restore cockpit to its original state, update the dash, go thru mechanicals, and call it a day. I think getting it closer to how it came shipped from cigarette would have been much more tasteful than where it's at now . 47k is a pipe dream for that boat. If someone showed up with 29k tomorrow I'd take it and run.

Last cig cafe racer I sold went for 20.000 it's in jersey somewhere ..had new cases on trs drives
1 new gen5 motor 1 new gen 6 motor and recent interior .. W float on trailer Had it listed 7 months for 25.000 finally got 20.000 for an 89 .. Those of you who Dought me it's stlll listed in swap shop on boat freaks .. So good luck on 43.000 On this 1 .. If a profit was gonna be made on this it should have been parted out before any work Was done ... Maybe some could have been made then .. Best thing to do is keep the boat and Enjoy it now as it is |
