i find it very amusing that a few of you believe that all it takes is a hand shake, deposit or someones word in the boat buying, selling world LMAO! these days it happens to be one of the hardest things to do (sell a boat) in this economy! if there is someone standing at your door with cash in hand and would like to pay asking price for your boat, i'm pretty sure you're not going to tell him to come back next week because you have a buyer flying in to look at the boat in 5 days that thinks he may want it too. B.S. to any one of you who say you would do that! if you truly want to find some fault in the sale of the boat, then find it on the sellers end for not holding up with his "hand shake" deal, but i personally can't fault him with that either imo. smokin gun, you have had plenty to say about dmax, would you tell a guy with cash in hand he couldn't buy your cig (a beautiful one at that) because you have someone coming to "look" at your boat??? i don't think so, you would grab that cash as fast as you can and run and tell the new owner to enjoy. as far as $28,000 for the boat, that will be up to the man with the cash and phil. a boat is only worth what someone is will to pay and what the seller is willing to let it go for.

Ok we'll seeing how I have 5 hrs left on my trip home from loto I will say this. The ad, I typed on my phone after driving 16 hrs through the night as a for what it's worth anyone in town who would want to see it. My phone wouldn't let me add more than a photo. Not sure where your getting me BS'ing people. I'm gunna keep this short because I just typed an essay and hit the wrong button and deleted it all. If you think all I did was paint and interior your just ignorant or you don't like to listen because I've said this many times. This is the run down AGAIN.

Motors were pulled, leak down was given and passed. Pulled the motors to a long block (I think that's the terminology) painted manis. And valve covers. New gaskets from ex manis up. And back. Deleted water circ pump. Added cross over with brand new working therms. New alternators from
Blue monsters. Billet sea pump pullies. All new belts. New seapump impellers and housings. New oil coolers both motors. I had Tim delete my mech fuel pumps and wire up summit racing elec fuel pumps which make for easy starting when cold and never starved for fuel. I made this boat for someone to get on and go. And so far she's done nothing but that, have had to work some kinks out along the way but what boat doesn't. She ran impeccable this week. We put 3 tanks of
Fuel through it through ruff big water and ran it hard and it never skipped a beat. Roughly about 200 or so miles

Also, we pulled the floors to inspect tanks and stringers. Both perfect. We left some things open ended such as the gauges because on a boat like this with a classic flare we didn't want to do Livorsi if someone wanted white orig. we are offering to include a custom dash to any buyer if they want. We wanted to make the boat customizable on a personal level for the buyer. As to where I got my money, let it go. I work. A lot.. Simple as that. My gf walked away from me because I was putting every hour I wasn't working my day jobs into this boat. So keep your opinions to yourself about how you think I had other people build my boat. As so my shop, I'm in the process of filling out LLC papers. I have a commercial property, with an address it's 1177 rt 5 elbridge NY if anyone was wondering. Along with my dealer license if y'all were wondering that too. As to how I bought it, that's the sellers issue. Not mine, even full whack let it go, why don't the rest of you? As to your friends offer of 28,000 that won't even buy you a 28 baja let alone a redone (here won't even call it restored so y'all don't come at me with definition war) let alone a 2 year paint warranty. Instead of asking here who all the people will tell you things about a boat they have never seen. Have him give me a call any time and I can talk him through it. I already have a paint job on a top gun lined up for next week. I'm asking 45k cash talks. Options available. Anyone can contact me at 315-247-3146 about purchasing the boat. There was an overwhelming amount of acceptance of the boat in loto and lots of love towards it. Funny how people out there don't hate a 20 year old for showing up at the slips with a boat like this, and when you say ya I just finished it it also gets their attention. At the street party just about all of my business cards were gone that people took which were tucked into my brag book with build photos and many people interested in buying but no one was ready to buy over the weekend. Made lots of connections with tons of great people.

OCDEDPPL your gun is unreal man it was awesome Meetin ya Thursday at the pbc party and drooling over carpe dime as y'all were walking past me headed to the race Saturday haha hope y'all had a safe trip home!

As to anyone else who still has a problem with me or what I'm trying to do let it go. And here's some
Photos for y'all who were too busy reviving this thread this weekend when y'all could have been boating. Or these might just make y'all more upset who knows. Oh and Tim, I got a tan now buddy! Haha 100 degrees and sun every day this week! I'm hoping back home is cold, I need a break from heat haha we ran every day and I love this boat! A lot of other people did too.

Most people usually have a contract that goes along with the deposit.... And there is NO PHUCKING WAY im selling my boat to someone with cash if I took a deposit/contract on it.

I have just seen 3-4 people in this thread I will never even consider wasting my time on buying a boat from... I cant believe you would have a buyer lining up airline tickets, delivery & surveyors just to turn around and sell the boat on them.

I had a $40,000 deposit on my Cig, with a 2 month closing while I got everything in order. Had to buy a tow vehicle etc. I'm just glad none of you had my deposit...

I feel exactly the same way ..bought my formula 382 in ny left the guy $50.000 cash dep with a contract took me a month to get back there to pick up the boat as I was waiting on a new trailer..now what would have happened had I showed up with new trailer and the guy sold the boat to the next guy with cash in hand ???? .. why take a dep if your not going to hold the boat I don't understand that part

my cig is currently for sale and if I take a dep on it the boat is under contract till I here otherwise

Good looking boat Phil. I saw you at Top Gun Marina on Thursday afternoon....I pulled in with my blue & silver TG T/S. I hope you had a good trip. BTW, I have a set of drive & tab switches in my dock locker. I wish I would have known you were looking. I live about 6 houses down from Brett at the lake.
