I am guessing there is more to the explanation that what was "heard" from PBC... They are in the business of selling boats. Now if it was as a trade for a boat they had in stock, then it is numbers... Or if they were going to buy it outright, it is numbers. If they are going to list it for brokerage, they are going to be up front and honest about it's value, resale, etc... Again it is numbers...
People HATE hearing what it is worth when they are trying to sell, no more than they like hearing the number's when they are buying... But somewhere in the middle is where everyone ends up. Unfortunately some boats are going to be harder to sell due to motors, colors, condition, etc (I am not saying this is about this boat, I have no idea) BUT.... there must be some reason PBC would find it hard to sell the boat, or the owner feels it is worth more than it is for resale from what is offered... One thing I can say, Noise is really not an issue in selling..... No matter how loud it is, we have them here.... That does not mean you wont be visited about it though by the local Water Patrol. Big Farmer, I See you are in Canada, Double R is a great dealer up there, have you talked to them? Being in Canada, Selling out of Canada and not dealing with USA etc... May be easier as well.... |
Broker saves the headaches of tire kickers an time wasters not showing an such. Lake Ozark Marine, PBC, Suncoast Powerboats, Double R, Pier 57, Aqua-Mania...
