Trailer really came out nice.

Thinking about some LED lights under it. Who makes some that will hold up?

My old boat, great memories, glad you are bringing it back to the level I had it at when I sold it years ago!

Yep, i sold it to a guy in Oklahoma city I believe. It was run on LOTO, the owner I sold it to ran the boat a lot. It got some hours put on her from what i heard. I put alot of time, money and effort into that boat. Worked out great for him, I guess then it was sold to Texas. That was a great riding boat, perfect balance, perfect setup. Something about that boat.

I used these exact LEDs to surround my engine compartment. Decent product for a really low price. I used 3m emblem double sided tape instead of the tape supplied with the role. The supplied stuff is about as sticky as the back of a 50 yr old stamp. The 3m can be found at AutoZone or on line.

I had these on my last boat trailer for three years. Not one issue. They are not flexible. They are mounted on a rigid aluminum strip and are waterproof. Two drawbacks....only come in white, and can't get anything longer than 3'.

One of my suppliers sells them and swears by them. I was impressed and got lots of compliments on them. Ran them on top of the frame behind the fenders. Worked great for night loading.

I have two friends that purchased the ones mentioned above. Pros=come in multiple colors, long lengths available, flexible. Cons=not a matter of if they will fail, more a matter of when. Both sets I helped install had at least one section not working when they came in. Additional sections just go out over time. We all make fun of them now when we load the boats at night and call them morse code lighting due to all of the sections not working in random spots.

Kind of a get what you pay for deal.

I'll be ordering another set of the lights in the link I posted for the new Bullet trailer in short order.
