Default 38 Top Gun

I'm thinking of purchasing a 38 Top Gun , it has 700hp engines with Konrad drives turning 30's , motors are suppose to be capable of turning low six's without hurting them. What kinda top speed should I expect ?

If they are spinning 30's at 6 grand, I would bet they are over 700 HP...... I had a 700 HP Gun that spun 28's right at 5500 RPM at about 80 MPH

He told me that at 4800 it was hitting 80, he said he didn't want to run them higher cause it only had 20 hours on them. The motors we're suppose to be 715 before the rebuild , he them went to a larger cam and aluminum heads , but did not dyno the engines . He suspects 750 hp now and engines capable of turning in the low sixs ???
These are not blower motors and are single 1050 carbs. The boat is gorgeous and completely redone but I'm really wanting a hundred MPH boat so I'm really on the fence ???

well i will tell you what. unless you have driven the boat or seen it run those numbers in person on GPS i think im gonna have to declare b/s. i have 750's and run low 80's in a kevlar hull. my buddy has over 1000hp in his konrad boat and it barely hits 100. better get a ride in it and see what it really does. the motors might be good to the 6k+ rpm range but what will they really spin to in the boat with the props he has on it?

Runaway, Things don't add up at all if this is his story. Engines with 20 hours are broken in. Should be ready to Spin the RPM's if they will. 6000rpm 750HP. Wouldn't make a move unless I was on the boat, and running it. We are talking about a straight bottom gun, correct????

Go run the thing, then decide.
