I would agree my credit union will not give a loan on a boat older than 15 years period. If he has 60 cash to spend he would most likely use that as a down payment on a newer boat in my eyes. In my experience people with that type of disposable income and credit buy more current. Sweet boat GLWS.

I have a good job, outstanding credit and a low debt to income ratio along with a 15yr history with my credit union and they still won't go over 20 years old. Like the above poster said, if I had 60k case I would be putting it down on a nice twin step Gun.

I'm sure there's another thread you guys can hang out on, I don't really care if you can afford my boat or not or who will loan money for it. I'm trying to sell a boat, I'm not a financial institution.

Since that comment was directed to me I will politely respond. I was giving a honest opinion and you get pissed because you didnt want to hear it? I suggest you follow the rules of the forum Sir. Go to your financial institution or wallet or piggy bank and spend the 55 dollars for a 90 day classified listing every 3 months until it sells. How many times have you already bumped your own posting? Stop the free exposure and here is another free bump for you. If you are trying to sell the boat sell it the right way.
I refuse to argue so I will say sorry for something I didnt do. Have a good day sir. Again GLWS.

If you can't get the loan don't ***** about your inability to get the loan. It's not the sellers fault.

I read all the posts in this thread and still searched for the boat in the classifieds before i posted. There still is no classified ad there. You tell me what I am missing. Great judgement and maturity on calling someone a punk ass. What is next meet me at the playground after school to fight? No thanks I will pass. I never said I wanted this boat, only how my bank worked.

Exactly, how your bank works. That's not how everybody's bank works. If your not interested in this boat why are you so concerned with it. Other people have bumped this thread because it's a great deal, not the op. I'm working hard on my buddy to buy this boat because it's a great deal. The hardware alone is worth the asking price so how could he go any lower.
