Cigarette Addiction

Is there treatment available for my condition? I'm a week away from having my project on my TG T/S wrapped up and I'm already searching the classifieds for another one! In my head this is normal, but so are medium rare, 2 1/2" center-cut fillets with a side of Ketel One & Red Bull! :) :) :)

F-2 Speedy 08-02-2014 06:07 PM

You are perfectly normal, no issue's that I can see. :funnypost: good luck if your going to sell it, I put my TG together and can't get a decent offer

thisistank 08-02-2014 07:42 PM

Didn't you pick that TS up from pier 57 pretty much done? What'd you do to it?

jawbreakerkid 08-02-2014 07:59 PM

Yes, that's the boat I purchased. The previous owner did a great job, however it wasn't all the way complete. So I decided to take the extra steps and make it a show stopper! We ended up doing some rerigging, setup changes, dressed up the bilge, updated the side panels with the newer design and added new speakers w/ billet grills, new custom Livorsi gauges, painted dash panels, new GPS and a few other custom goodies in the cockpit. I'll have to post some pictures next week, when I put it on my lift. I'm really excited with how it turned out. As normal, Vincent was able to work his magic on another Cigarette!

Jaw lets see some pictures. Know your issues

Nice. Your sh!ts always tight. Looking forward to seeing how it came out.

This should be a great looking Cig for sure! JBK always does it right!

You need to buy Eddies straight bottom #6 Top Gun and give that baby a total re-do , that would be a sweet boat!

I've thought about it for sure! I know you almost pulled the trigger on that one a few years ago. It would look great next to Raising the Steaks! :) It would be a fun project for sure!

I think the only cure is to send your Cig to me in San Diego for 2 maybe 5 years.......and for that same time you run around in a 70's era bayliner......lol......GREAT looking boat

Here are a couple more that I snapped this morning. The removal of the chart holder on the navigator's station really cleaned that area up. The new switches go in tomorrow, then tie up any loose ends and hopefully back on the water by Thursday. Livorsi is shipping a couple more gauges that will need to be installed. Livorsi has been great to work with....less than a week turnaround time on custom gauges is top notch in my book. Vincent touched up a couple of rock chips from towing, then buffed the entire boat. I also fitted the new full cover this morning. It gets a little closer every day! What Black Thunder is that next to it?? Sorry, just nosey:lolhit:

I believe it is a 43 BT....not sure of the owner. Vincent has turned about every screw on the boat other than engines and drives. I even had him rework the electric cabin door mechanicals to allow it to open / close smoother. He beefed up the factory mounts and realigned the threaded arm. I'm convinced that it is quieter and smoother than the day it left the factory. Doug at Mastertech helped with the drive setup changes and is finishing the wiring for the gauges. Other than that, I'm waiting to reinstall a steering ram that we replaced a seal kit in and swap out a MAP sensor. I'm quickly running out of things to finish!

drpete3 08-04-2014 05:59 PM

Looks like you should take a look at the 90 mph cig that just came up for sale. I as most would like to see it get re done rite

Shallow Minded 08-04-2014 08:20 PM

How many Cigs does this make?

SLOWRIDE-388 08-05-2014 08:33 PM

Looks bad ass chad, run it for a while and start another this winter. May be another snowy cold one. Long way from the 33 OL back in the day.

I've had two TG T/S's and a Gladiator. However, I did own one TG two different times....so it could be 4 depending upon how you look at it. LOL! :)

Thank you! Unfortunately, starting projects in the winter never works out for me as everyone else is thinking the same thing. Ultimately, they always take longer than expected and tend to involve more than originally planned, which pushes the timeline back. I really need to start in November and have it finished by March! None the less, I think you've come further in your boat upgrades than I have! Your new one is super sharp!

SLOWRIDE-388 08-06-2014 06:50 PM

Thanks, I do like a lil project. Guess it's the farmer mentality. Put it up for sale last weekend. Will see what happens. The new lil one is just as fun to play with!

thisistank 08-06-2014 07:18 PM

That engine hatch is SIIIIIIIIICK!!!! what's up with that? Custom made or a race hatch or what?

Finally it is on the lift. I have a few small items to clean up, but otherwise it was her first weekend on the water! It felt good to finally get the wife out on the boat. She's been a trooper for putting up with me for the better part of the summer. Here's a few shots...
