Default How does a 35 top gun ride. Any issues

Any info on a 35 topgun ride and structure build on these boats would be helpful. I know how many and when they were built. Looking for ride issues if there is any. Any one know rpm = speed numbers with what power.

Are you asking about the 1999-2000 or the 2002 35 TopGuns?

I had a 99 35 Top Gun for several years. It had a very nice solid ride with no issues.

There were no porpoise issues and will it reach 77- 80 with 500s true speed or ideal conditions.

The 35 guns don't seem to have the porpoise issue the Mystque's did. With stock 500's the best you will probably see is 73-74.

With that said, do you not notice the ride difference between the 35 and your current boat? I've spent a good amount of time on the 35 TS and the lack of length in bigger water was immediately noticeable. I've never been in a 35 straight hull but my observation had to do with length, not hull design. 3 extra feet can make a huuuuuuuge difference in both boat length and swell size!

Got to say I'm pretty happy with mine, as far as the ride goes. If you need any more info, PM me and we can talk.
