42 tiger info

Looking for any info on 42 tiger for sale in Hudsonville for 137,500.
It was in the north east but looking for more info.
How do the 2001 tigers perform with 575's and bravo xr's
Thanks

I don't know anything about that particular boat but I was looking at an XR drive Tiger a while ago and everybody said the drives won't live. Too big and heavy a boat for Bravos. Just a FYI.

my neighbors 04 tiger with 525 xr had about 400 hrs till he had his first drive failure. they will last for a long time depending on how you drive it! be gentle out of the hole, don't go wave jumping all day and you will be fine

Ive had my tiger since late 05 went to 650 hp in 08 w xr's. had one lower go out with 472 hours on it. I wouldn't hesitate to own one with mild power and xr's.

What fun would that be? If you have a boat that size with that power as is it's not going to be fast; besides that you can't or have to be worried when you go jumping. It's not worth owning IMO. For that get a 38 and have fun and faster. Btw $ 137,500 is kinda high for bravo tiger again IMO.

Now thats funny!

Lets clarify this, you CAN go wave jumping all day and have your drives live but you better be good on the sticks. i have many friends that think they are good behind the wheel or on the sticks but they are few and far between lol. the tiger is a great boat and not everyone is concerned about top speed but rather a better ride quality

BTW, i would say 82-84 gps in a 525 tiger is pretty respectable and running along at a good clip. how much lighter and faster do you really think a 38 tg with the same power is??? not much of a difference, soooooo i'm going to say that if you believe you are going to run much faster in a 38 or make your drives live much longer, then i think you are mistaken. just my opinion but, i would put my money on that statement. feel free to prove me wrong, it wouldn't be the first time but i have been around plenty of cigarettes, tg and tiger and i have seen all of the real gps numbers. i have also seen how long a drive can last or how quickly one can make a drive break. the longevity lies in the hands of the driver

The last statement I would agree with you but like I said before what fun would that be having to ALWAYS know that your drives might snap if you go jumping and having to hit the throttles softly when returning to the water but hey what do I know. Good luck outlw36 if you purchases it they like big water.
