Default Deck Hatch Latches or other options

99 top gun with original deck hatch latches. Any better options out there?
Can they be converted to electric operated?

bump
i had previously seen a thread where someone had cnc cut deck hatch latches and was offering them for sale, but cant find it anymore. anybody know who that was? I wanted to ask if its possible to also make some kind of clip (or maybe a magnet strategically placed) to hold the latch up out of the way when people inevitably slam the hatch down carelessly. I recently had 2 latches break in this way, its getting annoying...

I contacted the person who was offering those CNC hatch latches made in billet, but he had a falling out with the machine shop and no longer has them available, unfortunately. I would really like to have a set of these.

PM 5's on box's here on oso, he's the one that owns and runs the machine shop, no more middle man. he also makes beautiful foot rest inserts out of anodized aluminum then cuts the logo in it, it's a nice touch. if you're not in a hurry, he will make them for you.

Cig92, I tried to send you a private message, but your inbox is full. I was looking for the username of the guy that was making those custom parts... I am sure several other members would like some of the same items!!
