My friend Bob has a 42x with 1100's and the boat is an animal. Easily 125mph boat and that is plenty fast for a V! It eats up the big water like nothing!

Can't wait to see the build!

Congrats, should be a cool build to watch. Always like the 42x, great choice on the 1100s.

How much of a price difference between the 1100 and 1350 with the same drive

Didn't price 1350's but I don't think it's that much more. Fuel was the issue with me. Love the fact that the 1100's take 89. Slightly less radical as well.

I rode in a 1350 42X in 2013 and never really got over it. We were at the Cigarette rendezvous was offered a ride during the lunch event. Was so impressed after the ride I had Legendary Marine load my 39 TG back on the trailer.

I read somewhere that, the life span between overhauls of they 1100 is more than double of they 1350, that is also something to consider.
