These will have flat tops, but I would never run blowers with Pro Comp heads, these will stay about where they are at especially with TRS behind them... and I have no room for blowers, would be prochargers if I did that, but will not be.....

Good price. If it snows a lot this winter and you have them in the spring I may be calling.

Just trying to get a handle on how guys reach 1000 to 1200 hp on these engines.I have got a pretty good handle on hull design and construction and have been turning wrenches on my own chit for 35 years but never built any motors.

Been enjoying all the motor talk going on on the site lately from the guys that know it and are willing to give up some of the info it takes to build these monsters.

Guess it is just my next curiosity since I don't see my self building one anytime soon, But very interesting to be the Fly on the wall listening to you guys that are out there doing it.

Pretty simple:
1. Big cubes
2. Big blowers
3. Capable carbs
4. Lots of $$$

twin Holley HP850s, the new design / compisite bodies they came out with. They are a little on the small side for my application, but have proven themselves on the dyno as "adequate". I would think carbs and heads are limiting factor on my setup, more so the carbs I would think.... Can always change out if needed.

Comparable flow numbers to 950s is what I understand. I couldn't tell you what the limit is, but we have reached our goal.

I would dyno after all it's like $500.00 a motor. You could do all your jetting and tuning prior to dropping in. Probably worth it.
