What kind of speed are you seeing and did you have to get bigger props?

So far 70@5200, seems to dead stop I think it's on limiters gotta investigate that...

25 mirage plus props I was 73@5500 last year with 600 hp something is stopping these engines at 5200... I am in for the day I will play with it tomorrow

On your next run I'd try to run with the engine hatch open about an inch. From looking at your picture you only have the (2) side vents to get air in and out. Might be starving them.

I added that second one last week, also took some of the material out of flame arrestors and ran with hatch open yesterday no change... I am really looking at ignition... Dropping in with a buddy tonight in cleveland and gonna have him watch timing light and see if I lose spark at 5200...

What distributors? We retired the old thunderbolt 4s, the triggers are made in China now. We had a lot of problems with the triggers, and not making power.

Mine will drop into the low 10's at high rpm under boost, so I crack the hatches and the afrs go back up to 11

Might need larger flame arrestors. Once to confirm you don't have a timing/ignition issue. Might want to try running without flame arrestor for a short pull and see what your AFR and RPM look like.

Reset the MSD rev limiter to 6k by grounding the green wire at 3k for just 1 second.
