That's how mine is very level and extremely good ride in any water, I felt it was super fast for the 598 hp engines at 73.7 best, I will dial these engines in or later bring power band down but for this summer it is what it is... I was hoping to carry the 25's to 6000 to see the 78-80 mark oh well

I'm in the same boat and was thinking prochargers but think that would lead to divorce as well... boot wouldn't like that much lol

For now 80 is fast enough I think the next thing might just be new cams to get a little more out of my 500's

Yeah mine are 10 disc now.I'm using all fibers and steels, did some minor machine work and got rid of all the bronze stuff

Gotcha, last we talked I thought you were chancing the 7's for a bit... I just got Huber 925's for spares, when I can upgrade them or mine to 10 disc they will be... then no worries..Huber said the 8 disc will hold my power no problem even the 7 disc can he said as long as I keep them taken care of, but that's pushing it...

My stock 7 disc looked great apart after several years of abuse behind the 540s. Those 925s should work perfect for you! I know you are still playing with it and you wont find a magical 100hp somewhere, but have you tried vac gauges at WOT to see if you have enough carb? I ran 1050 dominators on mine
