Congrats Dennis, I had no idea this boat was 6 miles from my house. it really is a time capsule boat. Bobby B and I looked at it and I crawled around with a hammer checking it. The cabin is all original and the headliner looks perfect no sag at all, bilge is the cleanest I have seen in a boat of this age, little details like all the clamps turned the same way no oil leaks or gas pool marks on the manifolds, just a great barn find.

Thanks to you Rob for going to check her out for me! I can't express enough how much help you have been. Between you and Dave, its like having two brothers helping with a project for school or something... You are correct that the details the owner paid attention to made a difference, plus he just enjoyed keeping her clean! Told me that there were days that his wife wanted to do something, and he said "no, I'm going to clean the boat"... said he'd get a twelve pack and just wax and clean everything even though he wasn't going to use her...

Thanks Bobby! I appreciate your help as well... I know that this cut into your "beverage tour" that day, so I hope it didn't ruin the weekend for you... LOL!
