I can't help but remember what you said to me while I was searching... that statement you made to me "run as fast as you can away from it if it's a project" kept ringing through my head....
I wanted something old school, hot rod, simple and clean just as you stated, and I think I found it....

you went a little nuts though lol

mine is clean, I would say a work in progress.... but by far not a project... well to me anyway.

all older boats will need TLC but yes a huge project basketcase is no good, I didn't see Justins before he took it apart... but it sure looks good now!! keep your head up bud, it will come together....

Along with the purchase of the boat, I was fortunate enough to get the Original Cigarette Owners Manual.... Very nice, leather binder with all the paperwork included! It is almost as cool as the boat itself!.... I showed it to GlassDave and he said "I've never seen one of these before!"....
That owners manual is sooooo flippin cool, was neat just to thumb through it

hey Dave! Sorry I was late getting to your place... I hope you made your event in a timely manner... Thanks for your help too! This one sure is a far cry from the "other" one I looked at...

I was telling Dave the cop about the look on my girlfriends face after she saw that 38' Scarab in your shop! She was like "holy ****!" this thing is bigger than I expected! LMFAO!
