Isnt a boat with bravo drives faster then a boat with #3 drives do to weight and loss of hp to the transmission. I know you can get beef up bravos.
|
Buy a bravo boat, and then spend $25,000 upgrading drives or just buy the #3 boat..... I'll buy the 3 boat and put 10k in the motors
|
There is a better option then 3s rite now I know of a 5 boat with some 900s and AC updat d a few years ago but the color is a bit tough though

My 95 Top gun with warned 525SC's putting out about 650 hp and SSM3A's ran about 74 on a good day. Regular layup, full cabin and loaded with anchor, beer (I mean water) and a heavy stereo as well as whatever other crap I had.
I loved my 3A's. Basically bullet proof for the power. never had to worry about blowing a drive or missing coming off the sticks when airing out. zing the reve limiters coming out of the water now and again was no biggy. Just kept on truckin'! |
My 750hp gun ran 84-85 pretty consistant.
