You're right, I've spent many a years re-doing many boats in my life,, and of course you always want to put your personal spin on things.. Don't want such large engines that i have to be dicken with them all the time,, merc 600 or 700 sc's and not sure on drives... Agreed 1000%!!! our previous boat was a formula 292 and it just wasn't up to the task of Long Island sound ocean running. We had it for 3 years and it was damn near falling apart. The helm seperated from the hull by a solid 3/4" and the wrap around windshield had sheared off 5-6 bolts...the build on our current cig is in a different league. I feel like I would break before the boat will....
