I don't think Formulas nearly as solid as a Cig.... Not even close.

Agreed 1000%!!! our previous boat was a formula 292 and it just wasn't up to the task of Long Island sound ocean running. We had it for 3 years and it was damn near falling apart. The helm seperated from the hull by a solid 3/4" and the wrap around windshield had sheared off 5-6 bolts...the build on our current cig is in a different league. I feel like I would break before the boat will....

Yes, the guys that say Formula is same league have not ride or seen how a cig is built rock solid
