I'm confused. You sold the cafe and now your putting it back together with 600+ Motors?

Where does the **** end man?

P.s. - your avatar says "Cafe -sold"

The Konrads are 1.74" shorter. I put 750, 871 blown 518s in a cafe last year along with Konrads. Hydro 4 or 5 blades did not work. It now runs Bravo1 30 pitch. Good cruise at 55 mph.

650 with konrads will be 75 tops.. I'm guessing motor will make power at 5500 or so .. My guess 26 bravo ones. Three blades will be the fastest.

I will agree with the above. I had a 1985 Mistress, Engines made 680HP on the Dyno. The bottom is very similar to the cafe.

I ran 26 stock Bravo 1 4 blades with Konrads to 5450RPM - 78GPS Daily

I also borrowed and ran Labbed 28 Bravo 1 4 blades to 5300 - 78.5GPS Only a few times. (Better Cruise Speed)

I ran 3 Blade Mirage plus with the TRS. to 5400RPM 76GPS - X dimension of TRS is lower and not as efficient.

My engines were Dyno'd and that was the actual Horsepower. Not a range or a guess. I also ran this boat for 4 seasons

thanks zero and cigrocket! the motors are being built ATM and will be dyno'd when done to know for sure. they should make the power @ 6000. I'm just looking for a starting point with props or what has worked what hasn't. zero, why did the hydro's not work? i found a set of herring 15.5 x 33 for 2200 but it seems as if thats way too much prop. the client is looking for nice cruise speed and top end. and seafood... I'm not sure if you actually read or not... but the cafe is sold, has been sold.. the gentlemen who bought it, decided to do new dash, paint the bilge, new motors and konrads after the fact and is having me do the added changes. Its his boat and I'm just doing the work to it. what about a set of bblades? or is the ticket going to be a run of the mill bravo 26's but lab them?

If I kept the boat longer, 80 would have been possible and realistic. There was a little more, but chasing speed in a heavy, flat bottom isn't worth the energy, time or money. 1-2 miles an hour isn't noticeable. Speed changes depending on conditions, atmospheric temperature, humidity, fuel, passengers, and cooler. Splitting hairs will drive you crazy
