I had the same timing several years ago. Honestly, didn't care. Can't rush perfection and wanted it done right. A little frustrating, but the end product is what matters.

The tank leaks got me by surprise, of the 4 people i trust to do it right everyone else couldnt touch it until winter, Mark at Rage had an opening and was able to fit it in, having it back mid august is a win based on that, hopefully ill have it out in a week or so, then goes for all over paint in october.

got it out a couple times last season, went to dewinterize it this year and had a bilge full of gas ... soooo had to get it fixed. should be out next week for testing the new shorties.
