I'm going to set the limiter at 6200, but im sure max that i will push the go stick is 5800-6000. I'm setting it up for reliability and to be able to cruise in the 70s and 80 with occasional bursts. obviously I want to see a top number but that's not my core goal.

Rob, stay away from the 34's. Awful hard to get on plane (even after Brett did all his magic).

What a nice guy Dave is - he just rebuilt an XR for me and met me at his place on a Saturday to drop it off. I am assuming the Cig I saw on the lot was yours. He does great work, I am sure you will be happy with the results.

I agree, Dave is a great guy to work with, honesty and integrity. the cig there is another person I know... this is my tub running the Don Aronow Miami to Bimini race in 08 and also on the james river with my buddy Will and his wife Lori

Sweet project, I'm interested how the Imco's work with the XR lowers. Looking at upgrading to the SCX drives and if I can keep the lowers that would simplify things.
