I wouldn't think the spaces will be needed either. I noticed no difference getting on plane w mine w/o the spacers.

I'm hoping not, it gets up pretty quick now, if i can spin the bigger diameter 30's or 32's to max rpm it should put me close to or over 100.. with the new blueprinted and painted bottom it will be exciting to find out.

thanks guys... i have seen tons of boats, but i have to say to look down the side you really see how bad some molds are. Cig nailed this one and Andys guys in their prep work have made it smooth as glass. I cant wait to get Ceramic coating on it and really get the pearls to pop. I'm also going to coat the new awlgrip bottom that was done by Mark at Rage.

What ceramic coat are you using, if you dont mind me asking? Trying to get a little education on them, as I am thinking about doing it on my Red gel cruiser to try and stop fading/oxidation?

I use 2 in my business, Ceramic Pro is my base line, but for a true 10H hardness I use Kenzo and Kenzo Marine by IGL

Thanks. Both of those have to be certified installer applied, correct? Any recommendation for a diy product?

Correct, kenzo definitely by a good installer, ceramic pro somehow seems to wind up in everyone's hands even though they say professional only... the main thing is the prep, if you have older dry gel, it needs to be done right before you apply product other wise it will just absorb it all and it wont last as long. if you are going over clear, do a buff, polish and then a alcohol wipe, then apply.

No I dont, i only had it out a few times so Its not fully dialed in yet, w 30's I was hitting rev limiter at 92 mph, tried 32 labs wmf had for his ts and it didnt like them, so im going to try bretts 32 4 speeds as well as the 30 and see how it runs.. i do have 1/2 inch spacers if needed... going to see how it is with those then putting smaller pulleys on going from 7 to 9lbs and tuning with FU marine.

Looking forward to it man!!

In the meantime, you got the old video!

been a while since i updated, new fusion and bluave stereo as well as new cockpit and sunpad upholstery...

offshoredrillin 04-11-2019 07:58 AM

all the fusion stereo components are made by garmin so are 100% interface-able with the GPS, getting all the NEMA hookups done.. when they took all the wiring out from the previous systems, Mitch said it was about 100 lbs of wire, from at least 5 diff systems and diff people working on it over the years, i only put one in. there were some speaker wires that were run with power wires and some laying on top of power, no wonder I had alternator noise in the stereo.https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...efb19e72b8.jpg
