I have a couple sets of props that might fit your configuration, let me know if you'd like to try them come spring time......what are you currently running ?

it seems to like stock props, right now i have 30 bravo 1's... i want to try stock 32 bravos (i tried 32 labbed and it was a slug getting on plane, those are for sale if anyone wants them 700.00 for the set) i then want to try the bigger diameter 4 blades from Brett in both 30 and 32

If the 32's were lab'd by Merc, the stock will most likely take 'more' to turn them - not less. You may consider running a set of 4 blade Hydromotives. They typically run bigger than Mercs. Hope that helps!

the labbed was way too much slip getting on plane. they came off a 38 ts gun.. i think it needs the diameter to get moving.. ill check into the hydromotive.

Its difficult to compare our two boats with weight and bottoms being different but I think we're running about the same power, labbed 30's work fine on my boat but I've not rung it out yet because of the new engines, I also have a set of Mercury labbed 34's to 33's that are in pristine condition, come spring time Im gonna do some full pull's and get a base line and go from there, I may run out of prop and need to go to a 1.36 grearing, your boat turned out amassing hope to see you @ LOTO

Great Job!

I have noticed that I have to trim the drives out more w the w the SCXs v XRs. Mine are on Stellings boxes too so that may be why.
I also just ran a friends set of 5 blade 29 Herrings end of this season and boat Really liked them- of course you are on a different bottom.

I'm 850 per side right now, with tuning and more boost ill be at 1000. which is what i had built them for. I know i need more diameter, and more than likely more pitch... Phil had always told me that straight bottoms tend to run better with non labbed props, and mine seems to. i don't think ill have a problem turning 32s or a bigger diameter because i can hear it on the rev limiter. so pulling it and running at 56-5900 i should be good. hopefully it will be the first straight bottom with bravo style drives over 100, i know there were a couple with 6's but i havent heard of one with imcos or bravo style.
