I was just talking to Darren about this very thing the other night when he shared the pics of his new boat with me. Told him I thought I could get a few ovals to make the trip and hang out for a day. I think there are 9 of them total on the lake now after this winter's buying spree by everyone.

Carter has been over several times. He loves it.

We need to do this. Water is unreal.

We use to go there a lot. Started going in the late 70s when the water was Crystal clear. Also got our Open water scuba tag there. I really thought we would end up on that water. But a New Sherriff came to town in what the late 90s I think?? Tried to make it a Dry Lake- Really shut down all the fun.
I heard he is gone and it is coming back now- Not that Drinking is TOO important to our Fun!!
Also it really hard to get the wife away from this place out our back door now.

I rememebr when that sheriff started stiring the pot. What was he thinking trying to keep beer of a lake that's in a dry county? . Fortunately we voted the county wet almost two years ago. The lake actually has sports bars that serve beer on it now. Never thought I'd see that.

Anyway, I wouldn't leave what you have going either. We tow so we get to choose which works best for that given weekend. Either lake is the same drive for us. We love them both for different reasons.
