What do you Cig guys think of this hin ? Can it be a fake one ? From the pictures that i had of the boat it looks like a regular Cigarette 20, only in need of attention and tlc (lots)...
I hadn't been able to have a look at it but i believe it's a Genuine Cigarette

I have this crt33 with the HIN of crt330120182. It’s hard to find any information on these things. Would you know anything about this bunch of hulls history and why there were only a small amount made.

You have something probably more rare than you think. The Cig 33's were known as 33 Limited Editions, 33' hulls with 9'6" beam. To my knowledge Cig only popped around 12 hulls of this size. I had hull #10 (CRT33010279) made in 1979. Username 'yss' has it now. You may very well have the last one, Hull #12. Craig Barie & Brownie recall that these hulls were likely a 36' widebody hull with a block put in the mold at 33'.

Would love to see some pics!

I find that Cig 20 HIN to be a bit odd, it does not follow the older or newer methodology. Mine is CRT201161079. Model = 20, Number = 116, Date = 10/79. Could it have been restamped? Appears to be crooked, and some of the numbers are not level. Haven't seen anything like that
