There is a thread in the Cigarette Forum I posted on a month or so ago. This is a pretty special boat as it was a Hawk Edition which was big power with SMIII's from the factory. This meant that it was Kevlar as well. I got this information from Craig Barrie and Scott Smith who were both at Cigarette when she was built. Not gonna be the fastest boat out there but will never let you down in the rough stuff.
As far as purchasing, first off find a reputable surveyor in the area to take a look at it. Moisture in the trans some and engine rook bulkhead would be my biggest concern with a Cafe'. Get all the records you can on the engines and drives. If Eickert did in fact rebuilt them I can get you in touch with him to confirm.
The only way you are probably gonna be able to finance if thru a Credit Union. Most banks will not finance older boats. The survey will help either way to confirm you are not buying a POS with no resale.
As for the price. This thing should be worth $32-$35k in good health without a trailer.
Hope this helps.

Saw the boat at the shootout. Time capsul. Sounds mean also! I think its a great buy seeing how you can buy a decent trailer for 3-5k if you look hard enough
