Oil Temp Sender

Hi, where will I find the oil temp sender on Mercruiser 425 HP (OD763965) fitted in 93 Cafe Racer in the UK.

Mine is in the front of the oil pan.

Mine is located on the left hand side of the block toward the back. I've also seen them located in the oil filter housing.
