Default Extension box help

I going to be putting #5 drives on my flatdeck I'm looking for help on witch box I should use a 10" merc box or 12" stellings box let me know what you guys think

Why are you taking arnesons off? Sorry to derail tread I have the bravo conversions for my top gun and would like your opinion of the drives.

What's the budget for #5's boxes, transmissions etc.. ?

And crickets.....lol. 5s will be great and reliable. My white top gun had 3As a high x dimension so they ran like 5s had almost 900hp. Never gave me a problem, changed the oil every 25 hrs and didn't leave the props on for long periods of time.

On the Lock and Load staggered boat the boxes were 12" stellings, with #5s that we replaced with 12" Stellings and 6as
