Default Does anyone have any info about this Top Gun for sale?

http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...-Gun-102488550

Looks to be super clean for it's age, and the 500 EFIs and mint trailer are selling points for me.

Anything to look out for or be concerned with? Any known damage history? Anything I should ask the dealer when I call?

Is that price in-line for that boat? Seems that the straight bottom guns of that age are going for high 50s / low 60s.

Thanks,
Jeff

It was owned by a friend of mine a few years ago here in VA. He was so meticulous about the entire setup, he paid someone to take it off the trailer, put it on theirs, haul it and put it in the (local brackish) water for him. It was detailed every time it came out of the water, and was stored indoors. He had that ladder steel Myco built for it.

I don't know anything about the previous post, or what the current owner has done to the boat, but my buddy would not have bought/owned it if it wasn't perfect. That's the kind of guy he is.

He went to a CC, only reason for selling. It was perfect when he sold it in 2011.
It was sold to a car dealer in VA in 2011. And the current owner is in MD, purchased in 2014 supposedly.

price looks to good to be true...you know the rest of the saying.

i dont know the boat, but im sure jamie is right. he has the 411 on most boats. my guess is that if this boat was perfect it would be asking north of 75k. there are several lesser boats asking more than 65k.

You are probably right. That is the case 95% of the time. I've been lucky in the past taking gambles like that....but luck runs out.

This is why I love the internet....thanks guys.

(I would still like to hear about the broken stringers. Ouch.)

I've alerted my buddy to this thread. He may chime in, he may not.
I'm pretty sure he bought it from Phil either immediately or shortly after the refurb. That's when he put that trailer under it.

Email me [email protected] I have pics a customer took last week and sent to me asking if they were a deal breaker. I said they were unless the boat was 30-35k
