Default Water pressure with SM gen III

Adjustable pickups are all the way in pressure is 26psi @4500 (didn`t take go past that)

They are dry so I`m dumping water over board with a 3/4 to -12 on each tail @ transom.
(2) -4 lines off back of each intake.
-6AN blow off valve on bellhousing cooler.

Take out blow off valve (restrictive ) and run straight -6 line or increase size

shaving down the pickups I`d like to leave as a last option.

Dan, I ended up installing adjustable water pressure relief valves to control the water pressure. I don't have the adjustable pick-ups like you but my water pressure was around the same as yours. No problems since installing the relief valves. I ordered mine through Kieth Eichert....see below

Water Pressure Relief Valve 3/4" NPT
128-5002

Adjustable Water Pressure Relief Valve 3/4" NPT

This spring loaded adjustable water pressure relief valve is perfect forbleeding off excess engine water pressure caused by pressure spikes in anengines cooling system. water flows freely when water pressure exceeds theset designated pressure. Keep high pressure spikes from damaging yourengine.

Adjustable from 7-25 PSI.

I`m also running those turned all the way up for the lightest pressure. What size line did you run?
I`m going to increase it from -6 to -10 and test this weekend.

Tim, stats ? pffffft!
