Default value of 06 Vice

What do you guys think a 06 30' Vice is worth and would sell for? One with 525's.

Maybe it's just me but I don't see the appeal of a boat that is 30 feet long that seems to be going for what you can buy a TS Gun for. I know the guy that owns the Vice that Pier 57 is trying to sell now (it has been for sale for almost 4 years now) and he seems to think it has some sort of mystical collectible value. This 525 boat looks really nice but look what is out there for 150K+, you can buy a hell of a nice Top Gun for that.

As a former Top Gun owner (10 yrs) and presently own a T/S 30 Mystique, I've learned to love the Mystique/Vice. Our boating needs had changed and we welcomed the smaller boat, Also the Vice is 5000 lbs lighter than a Gun. `I hear you on the value, Top Gun thing but there really is nothing like a T/S 30' Cigarette. With 525's I'm sure it runs deep into the 90's and will do it very efficiently. When I tell people my 30 Mystique is the Toyota Prius of Cigarette boats, I mean it! lol

Please don't mention Toyota Prius and Cigarette in the same sentence. That is defamation and it hurts.

I inquired about that boat before I bought mine and thought the same thing.

The dry weight of my Mystique is 7900 pounds and mine is the cover girl 1/2 cabin, so I would think the Vice is the same or little more weight...

Tough thing is there are only two out there that I know of and only the one your looking at with 525's. I think that's what makes it tough on price with no apples to apples comparison. If I were buying I'd say $115-$125k. Rare boats do have value, but I don't think TG value. I looked at both boats and they are great looking. As Donzimaatt said, if the 496 boat has been for sale that long, it's priced too high. Whether a Cig or other brand, look at what's out there for $150k, bigger boats with equal or greater power. As with anything it's asking price. Throw them a reasonable number to think about, but not too low where they tell you to blow smoke. Good luck and keep us posted if you pursue because it's good information for other buyers if your willing to disclose the price.

Wish they made a 32', the extra foot or two would be great in engine bay.... **** be a little tight in there. That was my only complaint anyway, other than that, great size boat. Fit my needs perfectly and easy to trailer. But I have to agree with Donzi Matt, 150k for a 30' boat is tough to swallow. That 525 vice is gorgeous tho.

I think it will take a buyer with absolute size limitations in their storage or slip to shell out that much for it.
Very nice boat, but will be a hard sell.
