Default 85 Cigarette Mirage Value

Hello, I figured I'd ask here considering it's a knowledgeable group. I have an opportunity to trade a vehicle I have for this boat. Mt trade item is valued at about $7500+/-. I don't need another boat, however, if it's of any value and worthy of rehab, I'd consider. It's an 85, as stated, no engine or drive unit. Boat is 26ft. Gentleman has sent me some random pics. If I drive to look at it, I'll take more photos.
It comes on the trailer. I currently have a 96 Scarab 22 that I'm repairing floors among other things, and thought I could drop my engine set in here and go, if it only required minimum tlc. Would it be worth doing, what value does it hold & what's the speed given I only have a Gen 5 Mercruiser 454 Mag (365hp carb) with a couple add ons and thru hull. Assuming my engine will drop right in.
Please point out things of interest, problem areas, etc... Thanks for your time.

Looks like a major project, my personal opinion it is not worth anything close to 7500.00

Good Luck

26'? Did you verify the HIN? I've only seen 20', 24', & 28'ers. I think someone may have just slapped a Cigarette sticker on it.

Wow. Thanks fellas for the insight. I had no idea. I have a 22' Scarab, I could sacrifice my drivetrain for a larger hull for now. I had no intention of selling my box truck, but saw his ad, and thought it could be nice with a lil effort. I'll keep my eyes peeled here in South Florida. Thanks again. - Cheers
