Used a shop vac before but switched to the o'cedar mop and bucket from amazon. wouldnt touch the shop vac again, it now takes about a minute to completely empty the bilge after each trip out.

Had 2 drain plugs in my bullet. Filled them in and put one in the center. One cup of water in the Bow of the boat you get one cup of water out the back of the boat now. Lots of work was done under the floor and tanks but was with it .

I bought a shop vac from harbor freight for $29. It stayed outside with an old bucket on it for about 5 years before it quit working. Money well spent.

I like that 12v shop vac idea though
