Zero and the Pack - Cigs in the Keys 2015
 

Can't believe it's here again. Time to run the Keys with a Zero Patience and the pack. Here we are fueling Lock & Load in preparation for departure.

Easy tow today and a beautiful day in the upper keys.

We even had a Skater brother meet up with us

Awesome. Hope you all have a blast and try to continue to throw some pics up when you can to entertain us suckers stuck in the grind.

Today was a grind, replaced a 23 year old power steering pump before we left with a hi quality. Hi volume hi priced, new one. It lasted 30 minutes. Now there is a advanced auto parts, 93 Chevy truck unit on, that cost $41. And yes we changed the filter also.

It disgusts me how cheap stuff is built these days. Nothing last 20+ years anymore

5 running, one delayed in marathon with a faulty MOAC whipple cooler, but MRP removed the hose to the cooler and got it running. It was a unusual day with no wind and mirror water. In KW now and enjoying seeing all the OSO friends come by the boat.

Sweet glad to here was a smooth trip. PIcs! Pics! Pics! Just thought I would throw that out there cause I usually forget to get the camera out once the cocktails start rolling lol

Back home today, 110 miles thru, thunderstorm after thunderstorm, 25-29 knot winds from the east.Seas 3-5 then 4-6. Right before Bahia Honda. Then 2 feet on the inside to Key Largo. It never stopped raining. It was a great year again, the Cigs were excellent in the rough. We were on the trailer at 9:30, am and home at 4:30 pm. Now a whole lot of cleaning, and polishing.
There is a lot of Walking in Key West.

Did you pass Bahia Honda around 8:10 or so Sunday morning? We were staying at the bridge at Big Pine Key and I heard some one giving it heck in the rain and storms. I told my wife I bet money it was you guys! It was the only boat we heard all morning long...but did see lots of boats passing by on trailers :-)

We sat out on the balcony and could hear you guys for at least 10 mins, even over the hard rain and wind. I said to my wife "Now those are REAL Boaters" :-)

Oh BTW, saw you at Crystal River Boat ramp last Sept 2014, the Gun looks AND Sounds GREAT! FYI, that was the time your wife(GF?) dropped the fender in the water when you were loading..ha,ha,

You are very welcome, hope to see you in the area again soon. Kind of ironic, the first time we stopped by that ramp Kirk was leaving with his Top Gun, the next time we happened to stop by you were arriving with yours. Since we moved to Florida in early 2013 that ramp has been the "Top Gun" viewing spot because of you guys.
