cool boat! i bet it could be bought cheap. wonder if those are big or small shaft. going to be a hard sell with huge power flat bottom and an interior like that...

It has 3as, and he wont budge much on that price, looks like he had some interior work done as well.

I rent equipment from the owner of that boat. I don't think anyone is beating him up on the price, its already "cheap" for what it is, oh yeah and fast as hell.

about 3 years ago that boat was for sale in NJ area and sold for high 20's. it went to the mid west was for sale for 2x the amount and now back to the virginia area i assume

never.... been in Md the whole time, the owner traded it. It may have been listed in diff areas by diff brokers. the original owner is a client of mine.

sorry for the mistake. i knew it was down there somewhere. MD isnt too far from NJ. it was a hell of a deal when it sold a couple years ago. he was even throwing in the hoist.

That cockpit is too big and too easy to get around in. I`m gonna have to pass.

that is a smokin deal on a 100 mph straight bottom with all those parts. myself i love the 6 pack cockpits, been thinking about doing a 3 man in mine and leave the back seat. i even like the yellow. that price would not even build those motors. does it have a cabin or is is bulkheads?

Tell me how easy of a sell a big friggen yellow 89 top gun with huger power and 6 pack seating is going to
1. Someone who can afford it
2. The wife/gf of the guy who can afford it will like the color/ or cockpit
3. How often do you see people buying big power now a days?

Ok keep telling me how easy of a sale it will be. Never said the boats not cool. I already emailed the guy because I'm thinking about adding another boat to my flock.. Never said it wasn't cool, or he should change anything , I'm just saying it will be difficult sell because 1. The top gun market is flooded right now. People want newer boats. And everything about this boat is tough sell, even if it wasn't all yellow if it had big power that would be a hard selling point. If it was all yellow and had normal seating and moderate power it would be a hard sell cause of the color. Even if it was moderate power and not yellow the 6 pack would make it a hard sell, so add all those things together and tell me that combining all of those hard sell attributes doesn't combine and make it even harder to sell.... GTFO

While that boat is not for me I disagree on the big power in a straight bottom won't sell comment. When we were buying ours we had ZERO interest in a 70-75mph boat....

It has a bare cabin, just exposed bulkheads.

If you remember that thread was originally started to discuss the boat and what it would cost to put it back together not a gordon purchase to flip it and sell it. Never bashed the original sale or the boat. It was gorgeous and if put back together correctly will be a nice boat. I am still of the opinion not to put tired power in such a new boat. But that's just my opinion. Never really sh!t on Gordon's sale either saying it could be had for nothing. Again it was my opinion as everyone is entitled to there own on this site. Not to mention gordon doesn't have it for sale yet. There is no sale to sh!t on...

you guys should go re read the thread and cite where specifically I wrote that the boat was worth nothing or Gordon's stuff can be had or was worth nothing. Or were I was a tire kicker. I actually tallied numbers to be far exceeding the values of things gordon and Phil were saying were so cheap.

Where did Gordon state he was buying that boat to flip it? Maybe you should go re read the thread and cite where specifically he wrote that.

I think you need to slow your roll, Biff's comment wasn't directed at any of the horrific tragedies that have happened in Cali. or anywhere for that matter, don't read more into peoples post than what its meant to be.
