There was a thread from someone a few years ago of a Firefox with the similar paint scheme that was all restored in and out by Lip Ship. I didnt realize it was a 28" SS until I saw the description.

That's my friends old boat. We did the paint work on it. It is burnt up pretty good not sure if it would be a project I would tackle.

now that I look closer, I can see the ground through the bilge, total loss, those engines got hot but probably rebuildable.

that is about 40 miles from our house, i don't ever remember seeing it around lake michigan. a shame for sure, looks like it was pretty cool.

right, but i see in the add it is posted in hudsonville,mi. must be a bummer seeing your old hot rod in that condition.

You don't still have the hull id number do you? Just wondering in relation to mine if that one was built earlier or later. Any idea how many 28's were made in 82?

What props were you running with your big blocks, were they 330's?
