What is weird to me is the 35 almost sat at the Chines for the waterline and the 38 sat much deeper. I would think the COG being much further forward on the 38 would have shown even less depth at the transom.
Unless there is. significant difference in fuel on board the 2 models.
That 35 must have been super light, it almost looks weird and top heavy compared to other 35s

From what I read the hulls were 800 lbs lighter I could be wrong. But if that's the case a dynoed 650 hp and 3's I say maybe 77-80 mph boat on the right day.

There's a whole back story on the boat ....a ton of related information in a big folder i've yet to recieve, but story has it was bought by a Prince from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia or something like that.

Thanks Rob........I'm 6 years into the restore on the Magnum and still aways from splashing it...........a fully rigged & restored boat is nice to finally realize!! ........& to boot it's a Cigarette!!
