My guess with the #3s and the original Cig x dimension, 78 mph everyday. That is my guess. I did slightly better with improved x dimension, better prop technology, little more power, heavy resin bucket. Cigarette put the 3s at a conservative low x dimension. It will be a great boat and congrats to you....good luck

You might hit 80 at times I bet in the bay with salt water, light on fuel, no passengers, and nothing in the cooler. Salt water is usually good for 2-3 mph on the straight bottoms

Rocket.........at some point I'll post the dyno sheet. The engine builder relates the story engines built for quick hole shot & cruise @ 60 3200rpm

Pete,

Congrats on the deal,, looks to be a great boat.... I bet there are still some great boats and deals hiding in marinas and storage places ,, just have to have to time to explore them.
Great news
Jim

Thanks Jim...........In retrospect now, I'm kinda glad the 28' Ghost deal in California fell through........this one beats it by a mile!

Pete,

I agree with you for you a lot more boat for a little more $$$ ,, a lot easier to bring home then from out here and a great rough water boat at that .Am sure you will enjoy it.
Are you heading to south to pick it up?
Thank you
Jim

Yea Jim it would have been triple the distance to bring home and most importantly, not such a family friendly boat at that.........within the month I'm flying down to see it, but it won't be in Jersey until I make sure everything is turn key!
