Pic I took in Aug. 2010 leaving party cove at LOTO. Pretty cool to see it since there are so few of them out there.

There are also a few other boats that have followed the same timeless and simplistic black/white/silver scheme:
There is the black/white 38 PowerPlay:

This 42 Tiger, which I think is in Europe:

And OSO member y_schmidt has this AMAZING Cigarette Bullet, which is likely one of the most custom boats you will ever come across. 825HP naturals, and so much custom metal work, you will never find it all. Example, his drive reservoir bottle mounts are custom CNC'd "1" brackets.

I may or may not have been spotted driving that 31 at one time or another.

I have often thought with the gray interior on my boat I would love to have the hull painted black. I really like that look and it would stay timeless.

Yep, that is the Top Gun that was repainted in South Florida to look like a playboy.

That is boat #1 that went on tour when the playboy first came out. It has the complete flat hatch and is the only one like that. The #2 boat that sank and didn't have the wood floors had the newer style hatch, as mine does

Thanks to all for posting pics and some history too!... Keep it coming.

Has anybody ever put bigger power in these... i.e.- blower motors or arnesons?

I don't know of any of the "Playboy" series but we have the 35' Cafe as well as the 38' Top Guns, both stepped and non stepped.
