Was that the one with the radar arch and red interior? Doubt there is more than one black 46 out there. i was told it was originally built for the sultan of brunei... I was on it a couple of times. certainly not the fastest, but i always thought it was pretty cool.

That boat looked alot better before the ugly Lair graphics were put on it....but hey, someone liked it enough to have it done.

Given the option, I can't imagine why anyone would prefer that over the much more efficient 3 step boats. Just my 2 cents...

I agree 100% but with sturdy 1100's in it, it would be a 100mph rock solid caddy style ride.

I had a '04 46 with 900 Merc dry sump and 6's and it ran 97-101 depending on conditions. Then bumped them up to 1000's and it was a 105-108 boat. Now I have an '05 with 1075/1200's and with the 1200's running 110octane it's a 120-124 boat. Went 117 with previous 1075's and 124 with 1200's.

Cabin! Trade more efficiency of a new hull for a way more user friendly cabin of the old hull. A 90's top gun / cafe cabin in a 46?! Damn, freakin small condo!
