2006 Cigarette 39 Top Gun Purchase

The best part to this story is, you seem happy with every buddy you dealt with from start to finish. That's not something you usually hear in the marine industry. Boat looks awesome. Thumbs up to all involved making it awesome.

Not sure just yet.... I have a large list of wants, and smaller list of needs. Now that I am back running, I can take time to work out the next project or upgrade.

Running Sterlings with whipples. Haven't really pushed it just yet, but we were cruising comfortably around 75 to 80, while still getting a feel for surface drives. It still needs some tuning modifications via Mark Boos at Precision Marine Performance Engines.... whose shop is only about 20 minutes away. Will see after it is tuned.

The motors only have 35 hours on them, so I am rolling with them (not to mention I still need my kidney's for a few more years before I can sell one or both to buy new motors). We rolled it up to 85 at a tad over 4K RPM this past weekend. Still needs some tuning done, and it was my maiden voyage, so no need to kill anyone or myself just yet.

So is the wife over the fact you didn't get permission or are you still sleeping in your pickup truck? I bought an extra snowmobile we didn't need a couple years ago after my wife said no and that went over like a fart in church so I can't imagine the wrath that would rain down spending 100 + times what I did lol

What did you do about power, and what speeds are you getting out of her?
