Default Cig Tiger or Fountain Exec

Looking for a new ride. Currently looking a Tiger with 575's or a 42' Fountain Executioner with staggered 525's.

Thoughts on which one you would pick...

Now there's an endless argument, Cig vs. Fountain.

Both great boats, I'd put it down to personal taste and if it was me, nothing beats the look of an Executioner. Classic windscreen, beak and bustle.

Both would be great boats. On engines alone, i would go with the Fountain. If looking for a big water boat, the Tiger. All out speed, the Fountain. I like the stagger boats, that would sway my decision.

Just my opinion, but there is no comparison. Just put the two side by side.

All depends on the type of boating you do. If you want a nice cabin and better top speed then the Fountain is the way to go. If you want good rough water capability for great day boating the Cigarette is the ticket. Also remember the Tiger is 42' the Executioner is 39 ish without the beak and platform.

Nice...

I have a Fountain now and had planned to purchase another one, but then starting looking at the Tigers since the are in the same price category. The Tiger's don't seem to have the same wow factor as the Top Gun's though.

There are a few flashy Tigers out there, but the Tigers were built before the flashy, billet everything, crazy paint era. Still beautiful boats and reasonably priced these days. Those flashy Top Guns your talking about are 200-500K. You can get a nice Tiger in the 125K area.

Are you calling my boat a plain Jane?? Both cool boats, if the cabin or all out top speed in chop is the most important thing then the Fountain is the winner. Resale and rough water ride the Tiger is hard to beat. Also don't discount the cool factor with driving around with a number "1" on the side of your boat lol! Also if you are left handed the Fountain males more sense

IMO the Cig Tiger/42X are the best looking Cigs. But like others said, rough water, Cig, top speed Fountain.
