How are you guys doing sub enclosure's under the rear bench? My first attempt with two 12"s did not give me the quality i wanted. I had to face the subs up due to height constraints, & then with the hatch motor & taking into account the wiring for battery switches/breakers, the box design was on the smaller side.

I pulled the 12's out & now thinking about doing four JL m10w5's facing through the bench, but not sure how heavy the seat will be with a box fabricated to it. Also not sure if i would have enough room for a box with four, so may have to settle for two.

Having the battery switch panel in middle seems to limit my options.

I~m not big into blarring music so 2 10s are fine for me.
I enclosed the ends of the bench and then added a battery , then relays, fuses etc in the bilge.
Sounds great to me.

I'm only running 2 x 10" subs in the bench seat, JL audio, plus a third battery under the bench, plus the aluminum anchor. (Sorry, no pics) Interior guys said that's all that would fit with the battery box on center. I'm fine with it, not the loudest boat.

Supplemented the subs with 6x JL 8.8 woofers in the side panels. Those are plenty loud by themselves and hit really hard for smaller speakers.
